Every Inefficiency is an Opportunity

The construction industry is ripe for innovation.

We have a cutting-edge R&D engineering team dedicated to inventing new, technology-driven approaches. We have labs to experiment system-integration technologies and equipment automation along with materials like self-healing concrete. From new techniques that incorporate high-definition photography, 3-D laser scanning, and geographic information systems for surveying, to 3-D Printing for prefab structures, these enablers can improve accuracy and speed. These labs are the source of our innovative building methods and digital home backbone.

We use Building Information Modelling (BIM) to transforms digital collaboration in order to accelerate the construction process and even save resources for a more sustainable planet. Cloud Technology with mobile devices one can look forward to storing massive amounts of information, and sharing it instantly. It can help contractors to work on the same sets of data across the back office. And you will find projects running in real-time with accurate data and digitization, eliminating various manual tasks, saving time, providing greater cost flexibility, and improving profitability and productivity.

Ultimately, it’s about cost-optimizing the entire life cycle of a building.

Standardisation and Analytics have evaded the construction industry since a long time.

Our plug-n-play technology for plumbing, electrical, mechanical and fire, significantly simplifies interconnections and minimizes trades usage onsite, reducing finishing time by 60%. The Engineering labs are dedicated for R&D in process efficiencies and ‘experience enhancement’.

Plug-n-Play Technology

With prefabricated construction, building components are built offsite and then assembled or installed once they have been transported to the construction site. Prefabricated building components cover everything from framing, internal and external wall panels, door and window assemblies, floor systems, and multi-trade racks (i.e. panels with all the ductwork, wiring, and plumbing packaged together). 3-D printing is being extensively used for off-site fabrications. Modularization is the technology that can produce buildings that map up to their traditionally built counterparts. It is quite similar to prefabrication and promises consistent quality and faster construction times.

Design Automation mechanizes design tasks for faultless execution repeatedly in a precise physical form. Data, handles data-acquisition and analysis for continuous improvement in project management, business intelligence and home design.

BIM not only helps in imagery of the project through its 3D version, but also helps, through its 7D version, understanding the project in a time scale along with material and cost.

Building Information Modelling

Changes to the BIM model occur in real time, so any changes or updates to the model are instantly communicated to all team members when they access the model. Everyone is working with the most up-to-date information at all times. Because the schedule can be simulated, a visual representation of the construction process allows team members to plan out each phase of construction.

The type of immersive visualization made possible by VR paired with BIM leads to better collaboration and communication. Virtual reality also lead to greater acceptance and implementation of BIM.

With AR, a project manager or contractor walks through a construction site and easily views an overlay of a BIM model on top of as-built construction and compares the two. At the same time, they could be accessing checklists completing a daily report using a heads-up display. The project manager instantly takes photos or records the augmented reality walkthrough and sends it back to the design team for clarification, as issues arise.

AI and Machine Learning systems are being used to turn mountains of historical data to predict future outcomes on projects and gain a competitive advantage when estimating and bidding on construction projects.
